Commitment to Quality. Since 1989 VFC has been providing its customers with  complete turn-key installations anywhere in the  United States, and our Installation  Services in the  US and in many other countries  throughout the world. VFC offers various installation formats including complete Lightning Protection and Specialty Grounding Systems Installation, Installation Instruction, On-site Installation Management, and System Certification.

Capabilities. VFC maintains fully equipped technicians qualified to install Lightning Protection Systems on any type of facility. Our project manager does all scheduling and planning.  VFC technicians have installed systems on some of the largest construction projects in the United States.  There is probably no system that VFC has not previously completed many times over.

Technical Expertise. VFC employs L.P.I. Certified Master and Journeyman Installers, who are U.L. listed to install lightning protection systems.  This training allows them to request and make design changes, and solve problems on the fly, without waiting for approval from the office or a manufacturer.

Ground Resistance Testing. VFC offers complete System to Ground Resistance and Soil Resistivity Testing services.  System to ground resistance testing requires a significant amount of experience to ensure accurate results.  VFC’s personnel have a combined 30 years experience  in  performing  these tests.  VFC  has completed such tests from Seattle, WA to Tegucigalpa, Honduras.  With VFC-Testing available, there is no reason not to know the quality of your grounding system.

System Design. VFC offers complete Lightning Protection and Grounding System Design Services.  VFC’s Designs meet all current Lightning Protection Standards from UL, the NFPA, and the LPI. Additionally, other standards can also be incorporated. VFC has designed systems for most commercial and industrial applications including the Military, the Computer Chip Manufacturing Industry, Hazardous Manufacturing Facilities, even a Statue in the West Desert of Utah. All VFC Designs are provided electronically in the most recent “AutoCAD” format, ensuring compatibility with the rest of the design package.  Specifications are available with all designs.

System Inspection. Complete inspection services for existing systems. Comprehensive inspection reports, including corrective provided. Inspections can be based on current Lightning Protection Institute standards or custom owner specific standards such as AFI 10-32, FAA 19, etc.
